Fun Saturday

My daughter, Kayla, and I spent most of the day together today. She came over this morning right after breakfast and we went to a craft show. We didn't really buy much but we did see a couple signs someone had painted that we thought were funny. I wished I'd gotten pictures. One of them said: "Bed & Breakfast, Feel free to make both". The other sign said, "Go ahead and come in. I'm already having a 'fowl' day". We had a good laugh at both of them and I know it's not nice but a certain person did come to our mind when we read the second one. Oh, come on now...admit it...someone came to your mind, too, when you read it!
After the craft show, we went to a cute shop called "Real Deals". They have some fun, unique items there and are very reasonably priced. The owners of the place seem to be the nicest people. Kayla bought the coolest mirror for in her living room. It is going to look so good in there. I'll show you pictures once she gets it hung up.
Anyways, after that we went to a couple other craft stores. We looked at stamping stuff and fall decorations. Then my wonderful husband took us out to Tony Roma's for dinner. We sure had a wonderful day!

The Heavens Declare the Glory of God...

Psalms 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of His hands.

These are some pictures I've taken of sunsets around Montana.

"What the Hay!"

This past weekend was the annual "What the Hay!" contest. This event takes place between Windham and Hobson, Montana. All these wonderfully creative people take bales of hay and come up with the most fun-hay ideas...usually with "hay" or "bale" in the title of their creation somewhere. In previous years there have been Bet"hay" Boop, Tazm"hay"nian Devil, and Toni-"hay" the Tiger. Below are a few of my favorites from this year.

First, let's grab us some Chocolate Chip Cook"hay" dough
to take with us in case we get hungry on the tour.

Then we'll stop by to watch the "Bale"arina dance.

My, isn't she lovely?!

Next we have a whole baseball team complete with a concession stand titled
"Take me out to the "bale" game.

Here's the score board. Game's not over yet but we need to get moving along.
Maybe we'll find out later how this game ended.

Finally, we end with "It's a Hay Day for Montana Ranchers"'.

"Hay", I hate to "bale" on you but it's past my bedtime and I've got to work tomorrow.
